Transfer the password to paper as a zigzag line
If you have been given a complex password, then create a zigzag line on the hint card. Transfer it to paper using carbon paper or screen light. It is also convenient to use sticky transparent notes for this. Don't forget to draw the card edge markers.
Save the key zigzag line
Save the key zigzag line. Can be stored near the password entry point or in a password book. Important to keep away from the transparent card.

Security tip: Even if your card is stolen, without knowing your algorithm it's useless!
